We had an amazing stay at Ride in Asahikawa! Tetsu, the owner, was an incredible host who showed us around and answered all our questions. He had extensive knowledge about outdoor activities, especially skiing and backcountry information. The hostel had all the amenities we needed and a cozy living room/kitchen where we could meet other guests. Tetsu even had room for our boards and lockers if we needed them. The location was convenient, not far from the station, with shops and restaurants nearby. it was a fantastic place to stay and gather information for our trip!
Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like. 😊

Great atmosphere and friendly staff. the hostel had a cozy common area where we could socialize with other guests. the kitchen was well-equipped and included complimentary breakfast options. the location was convenient, close to the train station and surrounded by convenience stores and restaurants.
The rooms were on the smaller side and lacked windows, resulting in a slight odor. the staff made efforts to ventilate the rooms during the day.
